These terms govern your use of the TARA — The Career Guru website and platform. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them.
TARA provides coaching content and mock tests for government examination aspirants. Free accounts include one complete mock test per exam. Enrolled accounts include unlimited attempts, detailed analytics, video classes and faculty support, for the duration of the enrolment.
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate details. One account per person.
You may use the platform for your own exam preparation. You may not share, resell, republish or redistribute our questions, tests, videos or materials, attempt to extract the question bank, or disrupt the service. Test content is our intellectual property.
We prepare our content carefully and align marking schemes to official examination patterns, but examination bodies change patterns and syllabi. TARA is a preparation aid; we do not guarantee any examination result, rank, or selection. Always refer to the official notification of the conducting authority.
Enrolment fees are shown inclusive of GST before payment. Enrolment grants access for the stated period. Payment is handled by our gateway; see our Refund Policy.
When you submit the enquiry form, sign up, or enrol, you give your affirmative consent — separate from and in addition to accepting these Terms — to be contacted by TARA by phone call, SMS, and WhatsApp regarding your enquiry, your account, exam notifications, and enrolment. This consent is recorded against the specific submission it relates to, including the time it was given and the exact wording shown to you at that time, in line with the consent requirements of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may withdraw this consent at any time by telling us so on a call, by WhatsApp, or by emailing our Grievance Officer (see our Privacy Policy) — withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of contact already made, and we will stop further non-essential contact within a reasonable time of your request. We do not sell your phone number to third parties, and we are not responsible for messages sent by anyone impersonating TARA on WhatsApp or elsewhere — official communication only ever comes from the number(s) published on our Contact section.
We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and may change or discontinue features.
